When Enough is Enough

We all hit are point when we need a break, when we need to lower the number of responsibilities, or when we decide we no longer want to do something. This is okay! Knowing your limit and knowing when something isn’t for you is a good thing to admit. You don’t have to play every sport you started forever, you are allowed to change paths, and knowing when enough is enough is a skill in itself. The hardest part isn’t admitting it to yourself though, it is telling the people in your life who don’t want you to quit. Those people aren’t the boss of you though and you know what is best for you.

How Do You Tell Others It Is Enough

As mentioned above, once you admit to yourself that something needs to change, the hardest part is telling others in your life. Therefore, it is important to make sure you feel comfortable standing up for yourself. Think about the reasons why enough is enough, why you are changing paths, or why you are quitting something. Reminding yourself that quitting isn’t a negative thing, it is about knowing your limits. Moreover, being able to tell those that are pushing back that you are doing this for yourself is a huge step.

Mental Training and Building Confidence

How can mental training help with knowing when enough is enough? How can mental training prepare to actual do what you need to? Mental training can be used to build your confidence. An increase in confidence will allow you to feel more comfortable with the decision you make. Furthermore, if anyone questions you, you will feel comfortable standing up for yourself. Building up your confidence will also help you understand yourself and what you need to be your best self.
